What Would Feel Light Right Now?
It was a regular Wednesday, and I was buried in the usual chaos: work piling up, laundry waiting, and dinner still a mystery.
But instead of powering through, I paused and asked myself: What would feel light right now?
It wasn’t a productive answer. It wasn’t meal planning or cleaning or ticking anything off a list. It was ice cream.
So I got the kids (and husband!), hopped in the car, and off we went. No agenda, just cones, sticky fingers, and belly laughs. A small detour from the checklist that turned into a core memory.
Since then, that question has been my quiet compass.
Summer has a way of pulling us out of our heads and into the present. The sun stays up longer. The evenings stretch wider. There's more space for joy—if we let it in.
I’m learning that joy doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be the scent of a new candle. A quiet minute alone in the Salt Cave. A spontaneous float session that shifts your whole day.
So I’m inviting you to try it: pause for a moment and ask yourself, What would feel light right now? And then… follow it.
Because joy isn’t found in perfection—it’s found in presence.
Here’s to a season full of lightness, laughter, and permission to just be.
With love,
Linda
